We recently secured a major project through a competitive tender process for one of our main clients in the food industry, which perfectly illustrates our capability in managing complex, oversized freight operations across international borders. The decisive factor in winning this assignment was our turn-key offer. Our comprehensive proposal eliminated the client's need to coordinate multiple vendors, covering all phases from project planning to final delivery. This end-to-end service included critical initial steps such as the preparation and encapsulation of the work area to prevent any potential contamination to other food processing areas, followed by the specialized disassembly and dismantling of the machinery (handled by our sister company, Fisch & Fisch Mexico), expert packing, and consolidation of the freight into a 53ft box trailer and onto the lowboy carrying the oversized cargo. We managed the entire process, including door-to-door transportation.

The challenge was significant due to the scale and nature of the cargo. The shipment involved the relocation of industrial machinery, specifically a rotary blowing wheel for a molding system measuring 5.40 x 3.00 x 3.97m. Our operational team orchestrated the complex land transport from the client's facility in Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico, to York in Pennsylvania, USA. Our combined expertise in customs procedures was essential for the seamless cross-border transit through the busy Nuevo Laredo / Laredo, Texas corridor."
