ISSGF Deliver for Refinery Expansion Project in Eastern India

ISS GF are pleased to share their recent completion of a large project in Eastern India.

The company delivered critical and over-dimensional cargo for an on-going project for the expansion of the Numaligarh refinery.

This shipment consisted of 4 packages weighing a total of 1,765 MT. The cargo was splitters measuring 70.0 (L) x 8.6 (W) x 9.0 (H) meters.

ISSGF received the cargo from a supplier's manufacturing unit in Vizag before onward transport to Kolkata Diamond Harbour. The inland movement was completed using the company's own 20-axle hydraulic configuration and a 40-SPMT powered by two PPU's.

Extensive on-site preparations and civil works were carried out at the supplier's manufacturing unit, as well as the jetty.

ISS GF India chartered a one-of-a-kind vessel for the shipping from Vizag to Kolkata with a dual crane capacity of 2 x 1,500 MT.

All heavy lift cargo was then discharged from the vessel onto barges at Kolkata Diamond Harbour by a mid-river operation.
