Athena & H2B Collaborate on Ship Engine Transport to Dubai

Athena Global Logistics and PT. Harmoni Harapan Bersama (also known as H2B) are pleased to share a recent collaborative effort they completed, involving the transport of a ship engine and machinery from Indonesia to Dubai.
The cargo originated in Ambon, Indonesia with import formalities handled at Surabaya - the Port of Loading for the shipment.
Once loaded aboard the vessel, the ship engine was transported across the ocean successfully to the port of Jebel Ali in Dubai.
Three 40' flat racks were used carrying the main block of the engine (41 MT), the alternator (30 MT) and the base frame (28 MT).
The scope of work also covered customs clearance, loading & unloading, cleaning & reworking, lashing & choking, packing & inspection as well as freight bookings and the conducting of a 3rd party survey.
