The Project Division at ISS-GF India has completed another breakbulk shipment of transformers.

The cargo included two transformers (along with their accessories) measuring 6.45 x 3.75 x 4.35m and weighing 104tn each with the total volume at 428cbm / 253mt. Director, Mehul Modh comments; "The challenge was to arrange a suitable vessel on an immediate basis as well as delivery of the cargo from loading to discharging within 45 days. ISS-GF easily overcame this challenge, and due to regular follow-ups with the carrier, we managed to deliver the shipment within the committed delivery plans. To ensure a smooth operation, ISS-GF was in close contact with all the parties involved and displayed meticulous planning and timely coordination."
The cargo was loaded within 2 days as per the initial plans without any issues. The loading job was completed safely and timely due to excellent loading plans, stowage, and sea-fastening.
